Christmas!

It's Christmas! Yet over here it doesn't even feel like it because it's like 70 degrees outside. Yesterday was a really fun day with my family and friends, and I even got to spend a bit of it with my boyfriend which made me happy.

Anyway, this post will contain 3 parts.

Part 1: What I got for Christmas!
For Christmas, I actually got the NuMe hair products and I was so excited, I also finally got a debit card with my money already put in. I also got Lush from my boyfriend. Other than that I got new camera equipment

Part 2: What I gave to others for Christmas!
I gave my friends all cute necklaces/bracelets which they loved, I got my secret santa a gift which was a pop! toy collectable from the show Gotham and I got my boyfriend a game stop gift card. I got my brother an adidas bag for soccer and I got my parents chocolates!

Part 3: What I did for Christmas!
Last night I had a dinner with my family and I got to hang out with friends. Today I am planning to go out again with my friends and go to New York which is why this post is really small.

Yeah... we're going to New York, I'm probably going to take photos so I'll talk to you guys next time, bye!!!!!

Christmas Wish List!

Hey guys! Sorry for a delay in my posting, deadlines for college are approaching and I'm still applying. Anyway, today I decided to blog about my Christmas wish list because Christmas is literally this Friday and I'm so excited! For those who need ideas for Christmas gifts, maybe my list will inspire you or something.

  1. NuMe Products- Lustrum Set and Silhouette I've been dying to get their curling wands and straighteners for the longest time because I want to learn how to do my hair so it can look nicer and less messier.
  2. Lush!- Because who wouldn't want Lush as a Christmas gift?! It smells amazing and their Christmas products are adorable.
  3. Pandora Ring- Part of me has always wanted to have a ring to wear and Pandora sells really affordable rings so who knows, maybe I'll buy one for myself.
  4. Makeup- Any type of makeup would be nice, I really want to experiment with makeup tbh
  5. Tiny Tea Detox- A friend recommended it and said it turned her into a tea lover and gave her energy to do things throughout the day (which I definitely need)
  6. Fjallraven Kanken- I have one in a fog grey color for school and it is my absolute favorite bag that I just have to get another one.
  7. Wildflower Phone Case- Sydney and Devon Lee Carlson always promote those phone cases and it makes me want one so badly
  8. Dr. Martens- It's just a tradition that I have to get a new pair of Dr. Marten's every year
  9. A cute purse- Since I now have to try carrying purses around because my mom said so.
  10. Headphones- Any type of headphones would be nice
  11. Jewelery and Clothes- Because I am no longer a little kid who hates getting clothes on Christmas.
That is what I want for Christmas! I would be extremely lucky and thankful to receive these gifts and I'm actually going to be buying some of these on my own because I now have a job in which I can buy myself stuff! Before Christmas I will post "Gift Giving" (what I have bought others) and I will have a "What to do for Christmas" post for you guys. Talk to you guys soon

Gone for Two Months.

Hey guys! It's been a while, I know, I am so sorry. Life has just been too busy for me. But I am back and I've missed writing on this blog.

SO I know you guys probably have questions like: Where have you been? When and what will you be posting on this blog? Will you possibly take breaks like this one in the future?

I've been places. I've been at work taking photos and editing them while going to portfolio reviews. I've been with my boyfriend, hanging out and watching movies while he still isn't completely busy with sports. I've been trying to finish college applications so I can advance with my future and so I won't stress out about it next year. I've been around.

I haven't found out when I will be officially posting on this blog, maybe it might be on the weekends because that's when I find myself the least busy out of all the days of the weeks. As of what I will be posting is totally up to me. For the past weeks that I've been off of my blog, I've been thinking of ways to improve my blog. It's still a work in progress. But hopefully it'll come out to be really cool by the time 2016 begins.

Everyone takes breaks. This has not been the first time I've taken a break from a blog. This will probably not be my last time. The reason why I took this break was so I can get my life back together so I can come back and give you great blog quality. It's better to leave and come back with a bang then stay and not show your best work.

But for now, I am back and I can't wait to show you guys what is to come in the future. If you guys have any topic you'd like me to talk about in my next post, please let me know! I'd love to write about anything that you would like to know. Thanks and see you guys soon :)

Phases

Today while I was outside with a friend, we had a little conversation about many things but the one that stood out the most to me was our conversation about phases. It made us laugh a bit because his middle school phase was the same as mine, and it was during the same year. 7th grade. We didn't know each other at that time. Anyways, phases are really neat. To think about it, we can all compare ourselves to the moon: constantly changing and going through phases. It's incredible too, because when I think about what I wanted to be when I'm older back then, I think how big my expectations were growing up. Okay... that probably made no sense to you guys. What I mean to say is that the younger version of me had high expectations of what the me now should've been. Back in the day, I would always say "When I grow up I'm going to be a cheerleader and I'm going to be popular." If I could meet the younger version of me, I think she'd be very disappointed. But a part of younger me would be happy because we ended up being a great person. Back to the topic. We all go through phases. We get influenced to be someone else, we all try to discover who we are. Believe it or not, we never really know who we want to be until we grow older. I don't even think I know who I want to be as of right now. Life's all about discovering who you want to be. If it wasn't for phases, I don't think anyone would know what they would want to be. Honestly, I'd feel like we'd all be unhappy boring people. Phases help you through trial and error. You don't like being a certain way? Then go ahead and change it until you find what you want. The way that this happens intrigues me so much because we constantly change and "shed our skin" to become a new person. The phase I'm currently going through is the same one I've been doing since 2013. I think this phase is the one that has fully captured who I am. Who am I? You'll find out in my next post :)

xx, ambar.

Let's Talk.

Hey guys. It's me Ambar. I'm currently in that point of time when I have no clue on what to post. Writers block much? Yup. As of now, I'm drinking some hot chocolate from Dunkin Donuts and I have all my homework laid out next to me, probably homework that I don't even want to start yet.

I'm still stuck having PCD, and honestly it's real. I just wish it was October 2nd again, and I would've been heading to the venue right now.

I'm wearing my most bummiest clothes today; a black shirt, sweats (which I have to change out of later) and a burgundy purplish cardigan. I want to post an OOTW like every month, but I always wear like the same stuff every week.

On October 29th, I have homecoming! I'm not completely sure I want to go but if I do then I hope I have fun. I'm not much of a dancer but you gotta enjoy dances on senior year by what everyone says.

October 30th, WIPED OUT! is released and I'm so pumped, I'm currently trying to get my parents to order the bundle for me before it sells out because that means more The NBHD merch and I love merch.

Halloween is also coming up pretty soon and I think I have the best costume ever set out. I just have to go buy all the items, but I'm really excited. I'm probably celebrating Halloween with my friends and then at night with my brother and his friend because he's going to celebrate his birthday on Halloween.

Anyways, how is everyone's life? Is everything going good? Did you pass your test this week? If you did, I'm proud of you! Are you not looking forward to a stressful week? It's okay, we all go through the toughest times, you'll get through this week. Life flies by in a flash so don't get hung up on a stressful week.

I hope you guys just enjoyed this random blog post. I'm trying to get my life together... ALSO. I am thinking of schedules for my blog for the upcoming new year. Be prepared for a wild 2016... even though its still October 2015.

First Concert

Yeah, that's right. The cold of october has finally approached which means a terrible winter to follow along. However, that did not stop me from standing in line to see my favorite band.

Yesterday, I got to see the Neighbourhood live at Terminal 5. They were the first band I saw live and to be honest, I would go back to that night once again. Believe it or not, I want to convince my parents to let me see them tonight for the 2nd night in a row. Anyway, back to the story. I got up early as I would for school. Luckily my mom let me miss school, so thank you mom. I got ready and texted my friend to come to my town so we can catch a bus there. And we did. It was like 2:30 when we got there so the traffic started piling. That did not stop us from walking. Another friend of mine, who I met through instagram, Nicole, was already there and she held our spot for us. We got there at around 3:15 and from there we waited. Out in the freezing cold. No big deal, but around 6:00, when Nat, Nicole, Gen and I were together, it began to get worse. At 7pm they started letting people in. And we got in, we went to the balcony (best view ever if your small) and I went downstairs to buy merch. Because who doesn't love merch. I bought a hoodie, a long sleeve shirt, a set of 3 pins and a R.I.P Youth lighter which I dont ever think I'll use (unless its for lighting up a candle).

8:15. Hunny performs. They were so great! I only have heard of Cry for Me, but all their other songs were super rad, and I enjoyed it.

8:45-ish. Bad Suns comes up. Insanity. Christo even sorta crowd surfed and it was GREAT. He gave off a greaser kind of vibe and it made me melt.

9:45. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD PERFORMS. When Jeremy, Zach, Mikey, and Brandon came out me and my friends were flipping out, when Jesse came out I LOST IT. In my snapchat, all you hear is me scream "JESSE!" so loudly. It was insane. Their setlist was to die for. They played some songs from I Love You, which brought me back and made me happy that I got to see them perform some of that album. He played the mixtape, which was amazing, and it made me laugh because he had a GTA background for When I Get Back, and he had that weird video for Lurk which was my favorite. Then they played some of the new album, Wiped Out!, my favorite was Daddy Issues and RIP 2 My Youth. If you guys want to know what they sound like and you're going to the concert, I recommend just listening to it live because it was such a crazy experience.

I'm going to stop here because I have post concert depression so I'm going to find their live videos on YouTube right now. Thanks for reading guys, see you next week!
